Description

Number
|
This is the quote number.
SliQ automatically chooses a new quote number when creating a
new quote but the number can be edited if necessary.

|
Terms
|
These are the terms for the quote. The default terms are "Valid
for 30 days". The terms for the quote can be changed to a different
value if desired.
|
|
Date
|
When a quote is created, this field is set to the current date
but the date can be changed if desired.
|
|
SalesPerson
|
This field can be used to enter the name of the sales person
issuing the quote. Using the dropdown on the right of the field
allows easy selection of existing sales person names.
To edit or delete the names of existing sales people, see
Editing Lists. Note that
editing a list will not affect the values already entered into
invoices or quotes.

Choose Customer
|
This field allows a new customer name to be entered or the name
of an existing customer to be selected from a dropdown list.

Invoice Address
|
This is the address to which the quote is to be posted.
|
|
Delivery Address
|
This is the address to which the items on the quote are to be
delivered. If this field is blank or the Use Delivery Address box is unchecked,
the address will not be included on the printed quote.

Customer Message
|
This tab allows a message for the customer to be entered. If the
message is not blank, it will be printed on the quote.
|
|
Items
|
These are the quote items.

|
Notes
|
The contents of this field are NOT printed on the quote.
The field allows notes to be entered for the quote, e.g.
recording conversations with the customer. The notes can be viewed
on the Quotes tab when the quote is
selected.
